
It’s time to cook some rice! Today we’re making Spanish Squid Ink Rice. The black rice mixed with cheese and homemade sauce enhances its flavor even more. The chewy squid is my favorite seafood! A unique meal—let’s get started!! 🦑
✨Ingredients:
Butter
Rice
Squid
Squid ink
Diced onion & garlic
Homemade sauce (mayonnaise + olive oil + chopped parsley)
👩🏻🍳Instructions:
1⃣️Pour olive oil into a pan. Sauté diced onion and garlic until fragrant. Add two whole squids 🦑 along with some cooking wine. Simmer until cooked through, then set aside.
2⃣️Add chopped squid pieces back into the pan. Season with cooking wine and black pepper. Stir-fry with butter until fragrant.
3⃣️Add the rice and two spoons of squid ink. Stir well to combine – it’s ready!
🥔Mashed Potatoes Instructions:
Cut potatoes into chunks and steam for 20 minutes. Mash them with butter, milk, and a pinch of salt for an incredibly delicious side dish!
🖤Finally, serve the squid ink rice on a plate. Drizzle with prepared sauce and top with squid rings. Sprinkle chopped green onions and cheese on top – it’s ready to enjoy!!
